28 Sep 2022
The apparent sabotage of the Nord Stream pipeline would be the number one story in the world by far if this hurricane were not coming because of the impact onthe energy industry in Europe.

What happened to the Nord Stream pipelines?

There’s been a lot of really bellicose rhetoric out of Russia in recent days, and now the world is asking what happened and why this pipeline is now leaking natural gas into the sea.
Environmental NGOs said the methane from the sabotaged Nordstream pipelines will cause large-scale damage to the environment & “massively contribute to the greenhouse effect”.

I spoke with Danish Foreign Minister @JeppeKofod today about the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 apparent sabotage. We remain committed to promoting European energy security.

Notice everyone’s using the word “sabotage.”
NEW: Germany suspects the damage to the Nord Stream pipeline system used to transport Russian gas to Europe was the result of sabotage https://t.co/VLZFHa3yV5

The sabotage of Nord Stream 1 and 2 targets the desire of Germany to negotiate peace with Russia in an effort to safe the German industry from total collapse. This goal to find a settlement is the reason why Germany is refusing to send Leopard II tanks etc. to Ukraine.

Remember that earlier this year when Biden was doing his tough guy act, he said, “If Russia invades…then there will be no longer a Nord Stream 2. We will bring an end to it.”
Putin’s back is more against the wall right now than it has ever been during this conflict, to the point he’s resorting to conscription.
"They are not escaping the war. There is no war in Russia."
Ukrainian Amb. to the U.S. @OMarkarova says EU states shouldn't let in Russians fleeing conscription.
