This Tweet from Journo Taylor Lorenz Will Blow Your Mind
13 Jun 2022
CLAY: This is a Washington Post reporter, Taylor Lorenz — and I understand a lot of you may not get involved in the media analysis, but she is one of the worst human beings in left-wing media in the country, right?
BUCK: Is she the most cartoonishly awful journo on the scene these days? That lady got fired from the Washington Post.
CLAY: I hate to even mention her. I hate to even mention her name because I feel like in some way it benefits her, but she sent this tweet, Buck. This is a hundred percent real.
I have to fly soon for work & as someone who is medically vulnerable I’m so scared. All COVID precautions that keep high risk people safe have been dropped. I plan to keep an N95 on my face for all 7 hours w/ zero water breaks, but I’m scared it may not seal perfectly. Any tips?

CLAY: This is a real tweet. To your point about how many people are psychologically broken, if you read the comments on this from other blue checks, these people are totally psychotic at this point as it pertains to covid. This is real.
BUCK: This is what I saw, where I told you that people would take it more — you know, even more — seriously, the ones who are on the left still doing this stuff. You know, this is a little bit like some of the people, if you look at more extreme periods in some of the history of Christianity, with monks and people they would wear a hair shirt as penance. It was usually made of goat’s hair. You’d wear this hair shirt and it was meant to be really uncomfortable and meant to make you feel the suffering that you should feel. That’s what N95 masks on planes now are for people. “I’m not worthy of breathing real air!”
CLAY: It’s crazy that this is real and that this is where we are.
