BUCK: I’m seeing lines of hundreds of people on my way into the studio today to get covid tests. And what you are seeing is the collapse in real time all of a major narrative — and I think you could even argue a collapse of the Biden regime’s overarching promise, which is that they would get this under control. They said it from the very beginning. That was the plan, right?

First thing they were gonna do, the first thing that they were going to accomplish was knock out the virus. Remember a hundred days of masking, that was gonna do it? (impression) “Call everybody mask for a hundred days.” Yeah. How’d that turn out?

Remember when they decided that they would switch their idea from we won’t mandate vaccines. That seems authoritarian and excessive. We’re gonna make it easy for people. We’re gonna make it free for people and have a lot of public information. And, I mean, the Democrats were saying that, I mean Biden and Fauci and all the rest. And then they switched. Why? Because wasn’t good enough. Not enough people got it. And then it turned into “you are a threat to public health if you don’t get the shot because the unvaccinated” — Biden makes it sound like the unvaccinated are the unwashed, the uneducated, the evil, right? The unvaccinated are the ones that we all have to be so scared of. Except now we find out that many, many vaccinated people get it and spread it.

The collapse of the narrative in real time. You see this all around you if you’re in one of these cities, one of these states where they have surge in cases. New York is in the midst of the biggest covid wave — think about this. We’re already two years into the pandemic, right now the biggest covid wave in terms of cases ever. Ever. Set an all-time record just a few days ago. And it keeps going up and up and up. Wait a second. But New York is so heavily vaccinated. It has vaccine passports. Hold on a second. There are vaccine passports for people to go into restaurants. They excluded people.

The idiot authoritarians backed and encouraged by the Biden regime, the idiot authoritarians in New York and Los Angeles and San Francisco and go down the list made all these restrictions, and in New York they said you can’t go into a restaurant unless you have a vaccine passport. Well, you can be vaccinated and still get it and still spread it, and that’s happening all the time. It’s not aberrant. It’s not unusual. It’s not rare.

So what exactly is the purpose of a vaccine mandate now with passports attached to it? You go into a restaurant, you could be surrounded by a bunch of people with Omicron, all of them vaccinated. You don’t know. So what’s the difference? You think they’re gonna admit any of this? You think they’re gonna step back from it? See, here’s the problem, though. They’re cornered, in a sense, right? The authoritarians, the Fauciites, the apparatus, as I often refer to it, because of the distinct Soviet undertones, they no longer can tell you –the narrative has to shift. They can’t say don’t get it, don’t spread it. Just get the shot.

Now they’re saying get three shots. But the problem with that is people who are getting three shots are still getting sick. Yes, protected from hospitalization and death at a high level, but understand the policy differential here. If it’s about protection from hospitalization and death primarily or even almost entirely at this point the policy justification for firing people from their jobs, excluding them from public life, forcing them to get the shot to go to school, falls apart because they made that whole case based upon you can’t spread it to other — you’re a risk to other people unless you get the shot. Well, how does that look now?

You’re gonna see Joe Biden today — we’re not exactly sure when it will occur because, you know, the Biden regime will do whatever. He is speaking today, could occur during the show, and so we’ll pick it up live if it does — about the new plan. And let me tell you, the new plan is moronic. I said that about test-and-trace in New York City in June of 2020. All this is a matter of record.

I found out I’ve got something like 20 strikes on social media — I’m serious — in the last couple of months for trying to tell you the truth via social media, Facebook and Twitter, fact-checkers. They always rely on these fact-checkers who are just the quislings of the left online doing their bidding. It’s all partisan opinion bull crap posing as fact-checkers. But I tell you the truth about masks, I get hit. They restrict it, they won’t let people see it. I tell you the truth about vaccines, I get hit, they won’t let people see it.

Thank heavens I have this show with my main man Clay to address all of you across the country, and they can’t actually throttle my words because if Facebook and Twitter and the libs could, they would. So that’s why this unsinkable aircraft carrier we will have here of free speech on the Clay and Buck show is more important to me now than ever because we can actually talk about this stuff. Look at what is going on. They have lied to you. Are they sheepish about it at all? They were catastrophically wrong.

Biden, all of his cronies and advisers, the people around him, a bunch of morons. And it’s all falling apart. You see it falling apart right before your very eyes. What are they doing in response? Telling you that you have to listen to them — even more now, even more extreme restrictions are necessary. Here is just an example of it on — I think this was on — I don’t know — CBS, CNN, one of them, doesn’t even matter. On one of the cable channels. Zeke Emanuel. Here he is telling everybody that now is the time to double and triple and quadruple down on all of the things that did not stop this current pandemic wave in the first place.

EMANUEL: There are four things that we can do to really fight this virus. Number one is vaccinations. We have to get more they feel. I do think we’re gonna need more mandates. We’ve tried everything else. We’re gonna need mandates, and that’s — you know, we’re not gonna get past the 61, 2% just by asking people. So we are definitely going to need to have more mandates. Then we have testing. We have to flood the zone with tests, and then you have masking. We have to upgrade from sort of flimsy cotton masks to really serious N95, KN95 masks, wear them indoors, wear them outdoors if you’re going to a crowded situation, and then we have ventilation.

BUCK: Listen to goalpost moving as it happens in real time there, friends. Break this down piece by piece for a moment. And you know as you listen to me all across America right now that everything I’m about to tell you is true. You know that you can see this yourself. We’ve been going through this. The results are in. They failed. Biden, his cronies, his Build Back Better, “Oh, we’re so smart we’re gonna fix covid and we’re gonna fix the economy.” They failed. Okay.

Let’s start with notice what he says about masks. Flimsy cloth masks. We’ve gotta upgrade from that. Wait. Why? I thought the cloth mask was so effective. And I thought that — and of course, you know, I never thought that, not even day one when they pretended to think that as part of the Fauci apparatus. But I have all these fact-checkers, all these people that come after me, oh, we know cloth masks work. Zeke Emanuel just said basically don’t work, right?

This is where they’re playing games with the English language. If it reduces the spread 1%, is that considered effective? Are they serious? If I gave you an antibiotic and it says it has a 1% chance of curing your strep throat, does that work? Well, I guess one in a hundred; so I guess that works. This is what they do. They constantly move the goalposts. They are constantly lying to you. And then they get upset when you look at them and say, hey, why trust you anymore.

How can anyone trust Fauci, that little tyrant? He thinks he’s the grand general of this thing, the generalissimo, can’t get Fauci out of the way. He’s already said he thinks this is a war and he has to see it through until the very end. Oh. Oh, okay. So he can be wrong all the time. His pronouncements can be proven false, but it doesn’t matter. He has to be in the center of it, almost like what really matters is he’s powerful and important and that matters more than anything else.

So let’s just start there with the cloth mask comment because that’s interesting to me. Now they’re talking about N95 mask upgrades. Remember this is what you’re gonna hear from the Biden regime today as their new plan. And I’m telling you already based on what we are being told about what’s in the plan, it’s moronic, it’s not going to do it, it’s not going to stop this, but it is going to harass you, be very expensive, intrude on your civil liberties, intrude on your basic dignity, create a lot of unnecessary anxiety, it will do all of those things, hurt businesses, hurt the economy, just hurt America.

They’re gonna tell you — oh, do they even say flatten the curve anymore? You know why they don’t say flatten the curve? Because they’ve never flattened the curve with this stuff. They do it and the cases go up and then eight weeks or so later it starts to come down in place after place, almost like there’s a cyclical and season nature to this and that all these “interventions” as Fauci calls them and “mitigations” don’t do a darn thing. Masking.

You know, Germany has an N95 medical-grade mask mandate. Look at German cases right now. It’s worked so well for Germany to have this mandate. All it does is mean that neurotic lib Biden voters feel more empowered to walk around and say, “Where’s your mask?”

Oh, and then testing. Oh, testing is going to be the big thing, Biden’s telling them they’re going to send 500 million testing kits or they’re getting together 500 million testing kits. I mean, he hasn’t said it yet but that’s what people are reporting on. Test-and-trace. Let me tell you what test-and-trace was like in New York in June of 2020. ‘Cause I remember this is when they were really rolling it out big time. You’d get a call when you came into New York from another state fu you returned from a foreign country, about a week to 10 days after you returned asking you about your symptoms, are you really sick. Oh, gee, that’s really effective.

I think one time I got the call about two weeks after I came back as if, one, travel outside of New York was somehow indicative of being infected but, two, I’m so glad that they called me to ask me if I’m really sick because that’s going to do something. “Oh, my gosh. I just got a call from some slovenly bureaucrat who works for New York. I never thought that maybe I was sick until they asked me about my symptoms. Maybe I should get a covid test.” It was stupid beyond words. Big program. They pushed it all over the place. Think this one through. We’re gonna send at-home testing kits to people all over. By the time a lot of people are sick they’ve already been viral shedding for a day, maybe two days, maybe three. Do you think everyone’s going to test for this? You think everyone’s gonna test in time? What do they think this is really going to accomplish? How is this going to stop the spread of the virus, which is what we’re talking about.

Individual protection, you know what to do. You know what the options are. You’re at risk, get a vaccine. If you’re at really high risk get a vaccine, a booster, get ready for monoclonal antibodies if you get sick. That’s what the science actually tells us, sending testing kits to everybody, talking about the possibility of shutdowns, Fauci talking about masks forever on planes? These people are out of their minds. But they’ll never accept this.

That’s the part of it that I think, unfortunately, our side is waking up to now. It’s a little bit like, you know, the transgender swimmer issue, whatever. We have to deal with Democrats who are completely set in an alternate reality, in a version of the truth that does not exist. They think that they are right even when they’re wrong, and we have to look at them and say, “Stop being crazy.”

The most important thing that Joe Biden and Fauci and the rest of them could do right now if they really wanted the best for America would be to say, “Guys, please get that vaccine if you’re at risk and be careful if you’re sick, stay away from people, but go live your life otherwise because this is with us forever and the opinions and the lunacy needs to stop. We will get through this, it is imperfect, life is short, life is precious, do your best, the government cannot protect you.”

The government is lying when it says it can from this virus. They are lying to you when they say they can give you real protection. They don’t know. They can’t stop this. But they can trample on your freedoms and ruin your day-to-day life and destroy your business and take away your right to religious freedom and expression and freedom of speech and due process and stick shots in your arms that a lot of you do not need. They can do that for sure.
