BUCK: We were talking the first hour about the NSA spying controversy involving Tucker Carlson of Fox News. Rush Limbaugh himself spoke about the unmasking situation and just deep state and what it means in this country when those kinds of police state powers are being used as a political weapon and what an enormous risk that is for this republic.
RUSH: These people — John Brennan, James Clapper, Adam Schiff, the Hillary Clinton campaign — these are not public servants. They are vicious partisans. They feel so entitled to power that they feel freely capable and entitled to actually ruin people in the pursuit of their power. Look at the people whose lives have already been damaged by this!
People have had their homes raided predawn by SWAT teams over a fake opposition-research document prepared by Hillary Clinton, the Democrat Party, and the Democrat National Committee that we were told was legitimate intelligence. There has never, ever been anything to it.
It has never, ever been anything but totally fraudulent, fake, made up. All of the unmasking of Americans overheard in wiretapped conversation on the basis of this dossier — which the director of the CIA said numerous times formed the basis of his investigation. That opened the floodgates for unmasking Americans, investigating Americans, accusing Americans by name, by anonymous sources in the New York Times, in the Washington Post, in a giant case of opposition research disguised as real intelligence.
BUCK: Everything, Clay, that Rush said there was absolutely spot-on, and it’s also a pretty chilling reminder of the fact that they got away with it. Brennan, Clapper, Schiff, the Clinton apparatus. Sure, they didn’t get to toss Trump out of office, but the process was the punishment. They slowed him down. They had a special counsel. Who knows what the Trump presidency could have accomplished without what’s really the ultimate dirty trick of our lifetime?
