You know, I didn’t know Rush, and I came down the escalator with our great First Lady — our future First Lady at that time — and Rush loved it and he loved what I had to say. He said, “He’s speaking the truth,” and he was there, and I didn’t know Rush. And I got to know him well and he was great. He would be very proud of you two guys.
BUCK: Really appreciated the kind words yesterday from President Trump there. Welcome back to the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show. This is Buck. We’re so blessed to have had a chance again, to talk to number 45, Donald J. Trump, former president, and we were excited to go down to Mar-a-Lago — assuming we can make it happen. CLAY: How bad, by the way, did he want to with us, just go ahead and announce that he was running?
BUCK: I know.
CLAY: I thought he might do it.
BUCK: I know. Look, this would be a good place. This would be a good place to do it. So, we’ll see if we can get him to do it. And we’re certainly hopeful of that.
