21 Feb 2023
Welcome to the party, pal — or in this case, to the site of what’s being called “Ohio’s Chernobyl.” After weeks of ignoring the train derailment in East Palestine and more weeks lost trying to find a convoluted way to blame Donald Trump, Secretary of Transportation Buttigieg is finally visiting. You have to give him some credit. Unlike Joe Biden, he didn’t decide to go to Ukraine and make sure they’re taken care of first.

BUTTIGIEG: "When I go, the focus is gonna be on action. I was mayor of my hometown for eight years. We dealt with a lot of disasters." pic.twitter.com/FxKQib9SVZ
