Juveniles Aren’t Expected to Make Adult Decisions Under the Law

Justice Elena Kagan is a big advocate of not holding juveniles to adult standards under the law, yet she ruled for letting children decide they want to get surgery to irreversibly change their bodies and perhaps sterilize them.
There are seven parents on the Supreme Court. They voted 6-1 against minor children being permitted to have surgery. Two childless women — Sotomayor and Kagan — voted 2-0 to permit it. The Democrat party, to a large degree, now enacts the political desires of childless women.
