CLAY: Buck, you’re gonna love this story because it’s gonna make you feel smart, smarter than you already did. You’re gonna love it.
BUCK: Not possible, Clay.
CLAY: I know that’s what my wife would say about me too. So we have a story out of Israel okay, Israel is one of the most vaccinated countries in the world, and they have now been able to — this is — I’m reading for a study here, Israeli National News, they did health ministry data to look at covid outbreaks which have risen in Israel since May to try to look and compare immunity from natural infection — that is, people who got covid and recovered from it — compared to immunity in covid vaccinations. And, Buck, for people out there who are listening to us, you and I have been at the forefront, I would say, at least in the media sphere for sharing with our audience you had covid, I had covid, we both still have antibodies to covid.
We have not gotten vaccinated yet. And so there’s very little talk other than maybe with Rand Paul, who, I think, senator from Kentucky we’re gonna have on next week, very few points of discussion made about the fact that like a hundred million people probably conservatively in the United States have had covid and recovered from it based on data out there.
BUCK: At least. At least.
CLAY: Okay? So nobody talks about that as it pertains to herd immunity or how it’s gonna interact with vaccinations. But more than 7700 new cases of the virus have been detected during the most recent wave that is going on right now in Israel. Just 72 of the people who tested positive for covid were known to have been infected previously. That’s less than 1% of the new cases. But, Buck, 40% of the new cases — that’s more than 3,000 patients, involved people who had been infected despite being vaccinated. So the instance of reinfection in Israel is minuscule from people who knew that they had covid and got it again. According to this story, Israelis who were vaccinated were nearly seven times more likely to get infected after the shot than those with natural infection were likely to be reinfected. Which would suggest, as the Cleveland Clinic study already told us, Buck, that people who have already gotten covid have much more natural immunity protection than people who are getting covid vaccine.
You know, because the vaccine might have a — we’ve been led to believe have a serious mitigating effect on the severity of the disease this whole time. So that should be a part of this too. Now, it’s tough to line up mitigation of the virus from natural versus vaccine derived immunity; but that also has to be a thought process that we look at here, right? What we really want to see are hospitalizations and deaths and who was vaccinated and/or who had natural immunity. I can tell you this. I haven’t seen anywhere anybody who beat the virus through natural community and then ended up in — I am not sure it hasn’t happened, but I haven’t seen any studies that suggest that that is a real risk.
BUCK: I got a lot of feedback — I know you did too — people were thank you for really — you gotta go deep on this stuff because the talking points are what’s gotten to the Fauci-ite madness.
CLAY: There’s no doubt at all.
