Guy Who Was Gonna Fix Covid Predicts Winter of Death

CLAY: I want to play Joe Biden. I was having this discussion with my wife this morning, and I’m curious what you think about this, Buck. Is Joe Biden so mentally not there that he is just reading whatever his associates give to him, or does he really believe the nonsense that he is spewing? Because he’s talking about a Winter of Death, which is the exact opposite of when he took over as president back almost a year ago and he said he was gonna solve covid, no issues at all. Let’s listen to cut 9. This is Joe Biden yesterday letting you know that a Winter of Death is coming.

BIDEN: For unvaccinated, we are looking at a winter of severe illness and death — unvaccinated — for themselves, their families, and the hospitals they’ll soon overwhelm. But there’s good news. If you’re vaccinated, you have your booster shoot, you’re protected from severe illness and death. Period.

CLAY: It’s not true. It’s just not true.

BUCK: This debate is going to be so muddled on purpose by the people in charge. And I’m here in New York, and I gotta tell you just so people across the rest of the country know. Obviously, we have our WOR family of listeners here all across, really, the Tri-State Area. The signal doesn’t quite reach to Cuba, but it reaches all across the Tri-State area and beyond, and they’re dealing with what I’m dealing with which is a city that is going into full-on panic right now.

People are completely freaking out. It’s interesting. Not everyone is freaking. It’s different than it was in March of 2020 when there really was a sense of general fear and despair descending on the city. I still remember the hospital ship, seeing it in real time floating past my window on the Hudson River here and also the photos friends of mine were taking of the hospital tents in Central Park. It’s not like that.

There is a portion of this city — and I’m sure it’s true in Los Angeles. I’m sure it’s true in Houston and a lot of other cities across the country. There’s a portion that are Democrats who are just completely losing their minds over this. And everyone’s asking me, “Do you think that we’re gonna go into shutdowns again? Do you think we’re…?” and I’ve been holding back. Privately, I’ve been saying to people, basically, “We’re screwed this winter,” for months now, but I wasn’t sure.

So I didn’t want to add to the anxiety. I was like, “I just think this is gonna be bad. It’s gonna get worse.” But here on the show I said, “I don’t know,” ’cause I didn’t know, right? I mean, what you think you might happen possibly… I didn’t want to do a Fauci and unnecessarily freak people out. But, Clay, people are asking. We have possible restrictions on capacity coming our way now. We got masking up everywhere. There’s been a tripling of the positivity rate in two days in this city —

CLAY: Yep.

BUCK: — and 20% of the cases of covid are already Omicron. It’s gonna be way higher than that. But here is the problem. They aren’t dealing with the fact that they promised the vaccines would stop spread. And they keep acting like, “Oh, we really just meant that it would protect you.” If it just protects you, the basis for the mandates falls apart, right?

If it’s just about individual protection, it should be left up to choice. They’re conflating these things on purpose because the stopping of the spread through a mandate of vaccination has, as a policy, clearly failed in New York and other places. Doesn’t mean it didn’t help at all, but it didn’t work if it was to stop a surge ’cause we’re in the middle of a tsunami of covid right now.

CLAY: Yeah. And, Buck, this is where you and I overlapped even when I was doing sports, because sports has often been a canary in the coal mine letting us know where people might be going with covid. And there’s a couple things that have happened here recently that I think are really seismically important. The NFL is 95% vaccinated, Buck. The NBA is 97% vaccinated and the NHL is nearly 100% vaccinated. Okay?

All three pro sports leagues are now overwhelmed with their highest level of covid positive cases that they have ever seen. So this, to me, is a direct assault upon the idea that Joe Biden is selling, Buck. This is a control group that is highly tested, that is very well medically treated because of the value of high-end athletes to the franchises and to the leagues. Fortunately, those players are under virtually zero risk.

But those players were bullied into getting covid vaccine because they were told, “Hey, if you get the covid vaccine, you’re not gonna test positive, you don’t have to wear masks, you can have a normal season,” and so most NFL, most NHL, and most NBA players did it. Now, there have been a few — and we’ve talked about some of those guys. The Kyrie Irvings, the Aaron Rodgers of the world that have refused to do it. But all the guys who did it, Buck?

Joe Biden is basically saying, “Hey, if we had a hundred percent vaccination rate,” Dr. Fauci is saying the same thing, “covid would go away,” right? What do we keep hearing them say? “Oh, this is a pandemic of the unvaccinated.” I am here to tell you that is a lie, and you can look at the references, the data coming out of the sports leagues where almost every single player is vaccinated and yet they are setting all-time highs.

And here’s the big question that I think Dr. Fauci should have to answer and Joe Biden too. Last year with no vaccine, the NFL had far fewer covid-positive cases than they have this year with everybody vaccinated. Why and how is that possible, Buck? Same thing in the NHL, same thing in the NBA. How have all these players got more covid with the vaccine than they had without it?

BUCK: Some of us were warning about this all along because we looked at the situation of the seasonal flu that we deal with and we know that decades and decades of the flu has resulted in substantial loss of life, but we can’t actually come up with a vaccine that truly defeats the flu. It can mitigate the risk for seniors and a lot of seniors should and do. My own parents, your own parents, right?

We’re so anti-vax that we’re constantly talking about all the people we know who are vaxxed in our own lives. Right? These are slurs people at that people throw around now to shut down debate intentionally dishonestly, and Fauci is among the worst offenders on this one. You’re even seeing, Clay, that he’s willing to try to change the language. Did you see this? He’s talking about how who doesn’t want people using the word “mandate” anymore. He wants people to actually start changing how they describe it — so it’s less problematic — to “requirement.”

FAUCI: I mean, “mandates,” (sputtering) that’s a radioactive word. Requirements! People seem to respond better to that. They work, if you look at companies like United Airlines that require their people to get vaccinated, they’re about 99% vaccinated. The federal government, the federal workers, we have about 97% vaccinated — 99% compliant.

BUCK: Okay, Clay, he goes on and more babble from Fauci. They work? It works to force people to get the shot if you say you’re fired if you don’t.

CLAY: Yeah.

BUCK: Does it work to stop the spread of covid? That’s what people think of when they use the term “work,” and beyond that, mandate or requirement? He’s playing word games Soviet style ’cause he knows people are starting to clue in. More and more people are on to him.

CLAY: Buck, it is so one billion percent true that — and I’ll point this out. I mean, the pro sports league data that I just shared you? Over 50,000 people liked this on Twitter in the last 24 hours. The number of athletes that are reaching out and saying, “We don’t feel like we can speak out and even raise these questions. You told us, ‘Hey, if you get vaccinated this is not going to be an issue.’

“Now we’re setting all-time highs.” Why are we not using this control group of athletes which have almost a hundred percent vaccination rates to figure out what’s really going on here? That’s the very definition of science. You look at the data and you hypothesize based on that data. You don’t have to be a scientist to do it. You don’t have to be a doctor to do it. You have to be somebody with a functional brain who is willing to ask questions.

And the number of people that are even willing to ask questions associated with these vaccine mandates, not requirements — sorry, Dr. Fauci — is minuscule. I just don’t know where we’re going, Buck, but I feel like the next month is going to be an ugly, ugly mess for many people all over the country in terms of normalcy. I think it’s gonna get worse and worse on a daily basis from this point for at least the next month and maybe beyond.

BUCK: This is gonna be so different for people at the state level, at the local level depending where you are. And you all who live in Tennessee, Florida, Texas, and every other red state that’s listening to us right now, you’re gonna be living a very different life —

CLAY: There’s no doubt.

BUCK: — over the next 90 days than people who live in New York and California and all over New England. So Massachusetts and Vermont and very, very different experience, and I think what you’re gonna find after all this is done is the Fauciites are gonna have even less ground to stand on pause you’re gonna look at Florida and say, “So they live their lives normally, Texas lives their lives pretty much normally, California and New York don’t. For what benefit? For what benefit?”

CLAY: Exactly right.

BUCK: And the data will not support them. Fauci is on this debate an absolute disaster. He has been horrific, top to bottom.
