George Foreman Punches Back for America
5 Jul 2021
On Independence Day, former heavyweight champion of the world George Foreman tweeted out:
For about 54 years, people have asked me not to keep saying “I love America” Well I do and I’m not ashamed. Don’t leave it; Love it. Happy 4th of July. pic.twitter.com/EqWmbWjgbz

Buck remarked that for many athletes — famous, incredibly successful, multi-millionaire Americans — this wouldn’t be the sentiment over this weekend, which is incredibly offensive. Clay added, “If you are a left-winger, and you are angry about America — and, therefore, you’re trying to denigrate the United States flag — what are you so angry about?”
The hosts then pointed out that the left managed to drag Joe Biden across the finish line and into the White House, has control of the United States Senate and Nancy Pelosi is the speaker of the House. Shouldn’t they be celebrating America? “To me,” Clay said, “this is a flagrant flaw I think of their argument. They really can’t be satisfied, and this is one that I think Trump got 100 billion-percent right.”
Buck agreed. “If you’re a professional athlete, you’re a movie star, you’re a member of Congress, and you take the equivalent of America’s birthday as an opportunity to spit on America? There’s no ‘accountability culture there.'” It’s good to see “Big George” standing up to the haters and standing for America.
