Doocy Confronts KJP on Rising Gas Prices
4 Oct 2022
Democrats said Biden had no power over gas prices when they were going up, but then took credit for them going down a few cents.
"The US accounts for only 12% of global petroleum supply
"Oil prices, the principal cost in gasoline, can still shoot up or tumble depending on events halfway around the world
"No president, no matter how powerful or competent, can do much to control it" https://t.co/YkD2dtlAXN

"I grew up in a family where when the price of gasoline went up, it was a conversation at the breakfast table. It was a conversation that they — for real."
Um…another Biden lie. Gas prices were stable through out Biden's childhood, and in fact DROPPED relative to inflation. pic.twitter.com/UOabWj1XNV

Now, pain at the pump is increasing, so once again, Biden is out of the loop.
DOOCY: "You've said the president was responsible for gas prices coming down. Is he responsible for gas prices going up?"
KJP: "So, it's a lot more nuanced than that." pic.twitter.com/8P1P1JPa2v

You know a Democrat is in a corner when they talk about “nuance.”
Doocy lists high gas prices in various states, "how can afford that?"

Remember the pain, Americans, when you vote.
Doocy: "[T]here are consumers…in California paying $6.41 a gallon…Nevada, $5.51. Oregon, $5.46. Who can afford that?"
KJP: "We understand…That's why [Biden] worked…hard the past several months…to bring gas prices down…[Y]ou're pulling out…areas across the country" pic.twitter.com/H5sYDjGZiP
