Clay and Buck think it makes perfect sense that “chief commissar of the Democrat party,” as Buck aptly called him, Bernie Sanders, doesn’t seem to understand capitalism. After all, he is a proud socialist.
“There’s so few Democrats who understand basic business now that I really think Bernie might believe that $4.1 trillion in spending, which is going to be paid for by massively raising taxes on people who are trying to run businesses and small businesses across this country, they don’t understand the basic tenets of capitalism,” Clay pointed out. “They really do think — and this is the essence of it — that you can print as much money as you possibly want.”
Yet, Bernie had plenty to say about Biden’s buffoonish budgetary plans, including that the outrageously overstuffed bill “will pay for itself.”
Buck summed up, “When you’re counting on Bernie to make sure your monetary policy is not run by the oligarchs, you’re in rough waters, Clay.” Fortunately, like his spot-on impressions of Biden, Fauci, Joy Behar and others, Buck not only nailed Sanders on logic, but nailed down his voice as well.
