Senator Cruz has weighed in on the election results.

We need strong, principled conservatives in the Senate to stand and lead as happy warriors!

The key phrase here is “happy warrior” — one that’s already also been uttered by both Clay and Buck multiple times since the election, including today.

Senator Cruz knows a few things about the Senate and conservatism. Republicans should have won many of these races in this political environment, but we didn’t. Now we have to figure out why.
