We Wish Psaki a Speedy Recovery from Covid
22 Mar 2022
CLAY: Jen Psaki has announced that she has gotten covid again. Here is her official tweet that came out in the last 30 or so minutes:
Thanks to the vaccine, I have only experienced mild symptoms. In alignment with White House COVID-19 protocols, I will work from home and plan to return to work in person at the conclusion of a five-day isolation period and a negative test.

CLAY: She said she got tested in preparation for travel to Europe and she had a positive test. So she has now tested positive twice for covid, Buck, since October despite being double vaxxed and boosted. And of course, as is required in the liberal playbook, she’s saying the only reason that she’s not having any issues with covid is because she got vaccinated and boosted. Whereas I’ve had covid twice, zero issues with it either time, and I’m still not vaxxed or boosted. But this to me is a harbinger, Buck. (laughs) You’ve had the J&J.
BUCK: I’m essentially now, I’m cast out and have been for months from the vaccinated community, sir. The J&J vaccine? Now, the triple and quadruple vaxxed look at me like the unloved, the unloved peasant of the vaccine community. So it doesn’t really count. And everyone knows the J&J… They basically said after about 60 days as soon as the omicron came along, they said, “The J&J doesn’t do a damn thing.”
CLAY: I was on Spirit Airlines Sunday flying back from Las Vegas, and I laughed when I boarded because I was thinking about the perfect description of your J&J vaccine as the Spirit Airlines of the vaccine community, which one of your buddies said, which is fantastic. But what I think it represents, by the way, in the larger context, we’re having a lot of famous people testing positive again for covid.
I mentioned earlier in the show that cases are now back up over 20% in New York and starting to go up elsewhere. I think we’re headed for another surge. I don’t know what the surge is going to look like or how much more pronounced it’s going to become. But we have hit, I think, the low point of covid cases in the wake of omicron. And if you look at the historical data — which we now have two years of — typically the states like Florida are going to go back up in April and May and June and July as it starts to get warmer there and people move inside.
BUCK: Can we put a marker here, Clay? Do you think we’re going to go through NBC, the New York Times, the Washington Post, the CNN, again saying, “Ugh.”
CLAY: “Red states. This is what happens.”
BUCK: “Florida with all their icky covid this summer. They’re so icky! They don’t mask up” and all this other stuff? Do you think they’re going to do it again?
CLAY: They’re going to try it again, third straight year. I think they’ll try a third straight year.
BUCK: Why wouldn’t they? They’re so out of their minds anyway. What difference does it really make to them at this point? You’ve got Fauci appearing back on TV. This guy… What’s it going to take for people to realize that this whole thing has been such a scam, such a sham all along? I think you’re right? I would cosign that one. I do think that we have… There’s a likelihood here of, in the summer…
It’s not going to be from Biden. It’s not going to be from the top Democrats the same way. But the media will be like, “Ugh, Florida didn’t get their booster. That’s why,” and then we’re going to come into the wintertime, New York is going to be (shrill), “Oh, my gosh, there’s covid everywhere!” It’s the same thing every time.
CLAY: Yes.
BUCK: These people cannot get out of their craziness loop.
CLAY: I think what they’re going to try to avoid for the craziness loop is bringing back masks because they know it’s going to be a disaster for them, because everybody blames Biden now for covid as opposed to Trump.
