Fauciites Move the Goalposts Again
17 Nov 2021
BUCK: We are also seeing a lot of moving the goalposts, I think, in preparation for what could be a tough winter when it comes to covid. You’ve seen if you look at the latest tracker of CDC data, cases up for the last two weeks almost 20% nationwide. At about 85,000 cases a day, and you’re at about a thousand deaths a day. So people are starting to say, “Hold on a second. We’re not even post-Thanksgiving yet, and we’re starting to see what looks like a bit of an uptick.” Don’t worry, though! Dr. Fauci is out there and he’s just telling you if you comply, if you comply more, this goes away faster.
FAUCI: This will end. We are not gonna be going through this indefinitely. How quickly we get to the end depends on us, how well we vaccinate, how well we get boosted, and how well we do the kind of things to protect ourselves.
BUCK: Clay, I just need someone to explain this to me. How does getting boostered make this end faster? The very need for boosters is proof to anybody with an IQ above that of a toaster oven that the vaccines stop working well enough for this virus to be blocked and to have defense from it. So the booster is just another version of what they already gave us, which goes away after six months or drops down dramatically. Sorry, New York Times! “Oh, Buck Sexton!” But goes down dramatically after six months.
CLAY: Yeah. Look, Buck, people 65 and older, over 99% of them have gotten at least one dose of the covid vaccine now. These are people who are under the most danger. Over 99% have gotten at least one dose, and 86% are fully vaccinated. Now, “fully vaccinated,” the definition’s gonna be changing because of the covid booster requirement, but listen to this, Buck. Minnesota, Michigan, New Mexico, New Hampshire, and Wisconsin and Vermont.
Six of the seven states with the highest rate of covid right now are theoretically some of the most vaccinated places in the country, Vermont and New Hampshire in particular. New Hampshire in the last 14 days is up 123% in the number of covid cases. Vermont, up 73%. Minnesota 84%. What happens here is pretty clear, right? In the summer when it’s hot, in the South, everybody goes indoors, and that’s when things start to spread, covid.
That’s why the South had their rise with the Delta variant. What’s happening now is Minnesota, Michigan, New Hampshire, Wisconsin, Vermont, it’s cold, and people are going inside now in those states, and they’re seeing a surge. But what’s ironic is, Ron DeSantis and the Southern red state governors got destroyed when their rates went up. Are you seeing any of the mainstream media pundits going after these blue states and these blue state governors over their covid rates skyrocketing?
BUCK: No, they’re still try to find out how Ron DeSantis snuck up to Vermont to spread covid everywhere, ’cause clearly that’s what he did all summer in Florida, Clay.
CLAY: Yes.
Michigan, Minnesota & New Mexico which all have varying degrees of mask mandates & Democratic governors, have nearly 7x the per capita covid infection rate of Florida, which has no mask mandate & lowest rate in the country. How many articles have you seen ripping these governors?

BUCK: When you look at the numbers that you just laid out and the general covid numbers across the country, if we have basically everybody over 65 vaccinated and… This is a theory, right, but this is the way we should think through this, everyone is vaccinated. They’re the ones at highest risk. What exactly are we trying to do by getting 5 to 11 years old vaccinated and do all this other stuff? We can’t actually stop spread. That’s not happening.
CLAY: That’s right.
BUCK: So if we can’t stop spread, shouldn’t we have focused protection on those at risk, get those boosters if you’re at risk? My parents just got their boosters, Clay, right? Get their boosters if you’re at risk.
CLAY: Same for mine.
BUCK: But everybody else should be able to drop the mask, stop with the shot nonsense. No mandates. No kids in school. We protect those at high risk; the rest of society goes on as normal because they can’t actually stop the spread. So what are they doing with all the rest of us who aren’t at high risk?
CLAY: It’s a fantastic question. And that’s, by the way, the argument that you and I and sane people look at the data have been making now for well over a year.
