Kyle Rittenhouse’s Mom Takes on Biden for Smearing Her Child

12 Nov 2021

BUCK: We’ve played for you — and many times here on the show how people in prominent positions, whether in the media or celebrities — people are saying that Rittenhouse is a white nationalist, a white supremacist, a racist, a murderer, a killer, all these things. Anybody who has paid attention to this trial and seen the evidence knows this is a self-defense issue.

There is not actually race involved in any capacity here. The white guy shot three other white guys who were attacking him. There is not actually a racial narrative. But they keep trying to introduce a racial narrative, and what has also come out is even at the very top level, Joe Biden the Biden administration weighed in. Last night on Fox News, Kyle Rittenhouse’s mother, Wendy Rittenhouse, spoke to our own Sean Hannity about what Joe Biden did. This is the commander-in-chief weighing in on a local criminal trial, effectively. Play it.

WENDY RITTENHOUSE: I was in shock. I was angry. President Biden don’t know my son whatsoever, and he’s not a white supremacist. He’s not a racist. And he did that for the votes. And I was so angry for a while at him and what he did to my son. He defamed him.

HANNITY: Do you think your son has received a fair trial?

WENDY RITTENHOUSE: The judge is very fair. People that I talk to that lives in Kenosha all their lives, they told me that Judge Schroeder is a very fair judge, and he doesn’t allow no nonsense in his courtroom.

BUCK: Clay, the judge is now being called racist. That’s the media narrative.

CLAY: Of course. This is shameful by Joe Biden. And I think it deserves more attention that it’s received. Narrative over fact is driving our country apart in massive ways, Buck, because there’s a huge percentage of people in this Kyle Rittenhouse case that he didn’t even know the victims of the shooting were white because this kid was immediately labeled — by people like Joe Biden, because it fits their narrative — as a racist, as a white supremacist.

We wrote down, we played the audio from MSNBC and CNN: A “murderer,” as a “school shooter,” “17-year-old vigilante,” “domestic terrorist,” “deeply racist murderer.” Joe Biden and people of his ilk… I want to focus on Biden because I think it’s significant as a lawyer. When you are in a position of power like Joe Biden, you should not be weighing in on justice-related issues before the juries and the prosecutors and the district attorneys and the defense attorneys have had an opportunity to actually make their case.

If Joe Biden wants to waste in at the end of the Kyle Rittenhouse trial after the jury has already rendered its verdict and disagree with it, that is his right. I don’t think it’s smart for presidents to be getting involved in individual cases no matter what their substance is of a criminal nature. But the fact that he labeled this kid a white supremacist in an effort to further his narrative?

Remember, Joe Biden launched his presidency predicated on a lie, Buck. The “very fine people” lie that still follows Donald Trump, the idea that after Charlottesville, Donald Trump labeled — as his critics would have it and as most in the media would have it — Nazis “very fine people.” That’s not what he said. Joe premised his entire presidential campaign on a lie, and he continues to propagate lies throughout his tenure in office.

And, frankly, this is why so many people are getting red pilled, Buck. People sometimes say, “Well, Clay, what in your life…?” You’re a longtime conservative. You were 12 years old, and you were reading the conservative journals and everything else. You’re a lifelong conservative, born and raised. I’m not. I think there’s a lot of people out there listening to us now, who have been readily pilled by the dishonesty that they have seen from the media.

And the Trump administration put me over the top in terms of looking at stories, researching them as a member of the media myself and seeing the consistent levels of dishonesty from the media and outright lies and the way that it’s spread. And I saw it oftentimes, Buck, through the prism of sports, which scarily is even more left wing and insane than our political realm. And it’s so infuriating that finally I couldn’t take it anymore. And I think there’s lots of people, I would bet, listening to us a huge percentage of people who are in my exact same position.

BUCK: We were talking about before the show and you said something, Clay, I thought was really profound ’cause Clay and I are prepping for this show all day. We’re all texting and talking in the breaks and at night and in the mornings and we’re always getting ready for this. He said, “It’s amazing how no one will ever admit that they’ve changed their mind.”

Not even that they were wrong, right? The W-word might make people feel worried. “Oh, no. I don’t want to say I’m wrong.” No one will even say these days at least those that have platforms in the public excuses, they’ve changed their mind on something that they felt very — and you look, and this is something I want everyone to think about today: Kyle Rittenhouse.

The media, the Democrat Party lied — Joe Biden lied — about this kid, and instead of saying, “Well, we misrepresented this trial; we got this wrong,” they’re saying, “The judge is racist! They’re saying there are broader issues of race here that we need to have a discussion about.” No. They were wrong. You see this with inflation. They’ve been saying for months, “We won’t make it worse.

“It’s not going to get worse. We’re gonna spend a whole lot of money as Democrats, the Build Back Better agenda.” You see this with defund the police and crime. We all know what happened there, and yet people won’t come forward from the other side and said, “Okay. I still disagree with conservatives on a whole bunch of things, but on this one, they happen to be correct.”

CLAY: “Everything is racist” is the default accusation of anyone who does anything that upsets in any way the Democratic Party. And right now, people are coming to the realization, Buck, that Kyle Rittenhouse is likely not going to be convicted. I would be very, very surprised if he’s convicted of any substantial wrongdoing in this in Kenosha Wisconsin right now. So CNN is on the rampage and one of the at least intelligent man to have a television show in the history of mankind, Don Lemon, he said the Rittenhouse trial judge’s demeanor is grounds for a mistrial. Listen to this.

LEMON: Can we talk about this judge? He’s ridiculous. His antics are absolutely ridiculous. And today saying that someone who rights for a biased publication that has been favorable to Kyle Rittenhouse that has spoken out against Black Lives Matter, that that shouldn’t be brought in so that the jurors can’t make up their own minds about what is bias and what is not and what is relevant and what is not I think is…

I don’t know if it works that way legally, that’s cause from mistrial but certainly his demeanor, the way he speaks to the prosecution, the way he looks at Kyle Rittenhouse like it’s his grandson? I mean, come on, America! I don’t see how anybody can say that this judge is not biased and is not leaning in a certain direction.

BUCK: He was appointed by a Democrat. First of all, Don Lemon, going to him for analysis of anything, never mind actual legal analysis, is a fool’s errand. But this is just… We know what this is, Clay, ’cause you’re gonna hear a lot of this today as well we heard it the last 24 hours. The left, there’s a narrative here. It’s actually not about the Kyle Rittenhouse case in terms of is it the self-defense case.

That’s all this is, yes or no. Did Kyle Rittenhouse shoot three people because they were attacking him and he was incredible fear for his own safety? No they don’t want to make it about everything else, about BLM, about systemic racism, about a white vigilante. None of that is actually at issue in the case, really, and so what are they gonna say when they’re not gonna get their way? Assuming they don’t get their way. I don’t want to, you know, get ahead of ourselves. “The judge is racist,” Clay. Oh, gosh, so easy.

CLAY: The Democrat appointed judge who is historically one of the most difficult judges anywhere in the state of Wisconsin when it comes to lenience towards defense attorneys. He’s a former prosecutor which for those of you out there who are as unaware of the legal system as Don Lemon is, means that he usually tried to put people in jail, meaning his sympathies would typically lie with the prosecutors who he’s been giving a hard time to, this judge has done nothing to suggest that there might be a mistrial. But what’s wild here is Don Lemon doesn’t even know what the legal standards for a mistrial are, and yet he’s talking to his audience about a demand for a mistrial, which is just further spreading misinformation.

CLAY: As we’re rolling through today’s show, Buck Sexton has been in the eye of the Blue Checkmark Brigade storm over his insistence in calling them out over their obsession with masks, and this is just one of the many things that is all tied up in a failure to acknowledge when a factual pattern destroys the narrative. And you all know this because Kyle Rittenhouse, they’re calling a “white supremacist,” an awful human being.

On CNN and MSNBC, he was called a “murderer,” “a school shooter,” “a 17-year-old vigilante,” “domestic terrorist,” “deeply racist murderer.” All those things were said. And now people are coming to the conclusion, having watched the trial itself, that almost none of those accusations have been proven in any way so far in a court of law; so there has to be a reason why that is occurring. And guess what? Elie Mystal, who is a lawyer, I believe, went on CNN, I believe it was, and said, the reason why Kyle Rittenhouse may be getting off is because the judge is racist. Listen to this.

MYSTAL: Do you see what I’m saying? When you put the one and one together, you end up with two. When you put one plus one plus one plus one plus one together, you end up with five. And that’s what — that’s what — that’s what Judge Schroeder is. He has made a series of decisions. Each one perhaps may be individually defensible but in totality lead to impression of a biased, racist judge with his Trump-rally cell phone, umm, uhh, that is trying to get Rittenhouse, uh, a walk.

BUCK: First of all, Clay, we had to correct something. I believe yesterday we said it’s… What’s the name of the song?

CLAY: Oh, yeah, yeah. My apologies to Lee Greenwood and all of his fans. I said that the song was called Proud to Be an American. It’s called “God Bless the U.S.A,” and “I’m proud to be an American” is certainly the refrain that many people recognize from that. Apologies to all of America for that.

BUCK: Isn’t it funny that blue check journos like Mr. Mystal here, just assume as we were joking around, don’t even… Actually, I was serious about this part when I said, “If you see that a judge on a case as a conservative that you’re… You know, if you’re accused of something, if the judge has an American flag hanging from their home somewhere? It’s not a guarantee, but you think you’re probably in pretty good shape that this person might actually respect the Constitution.”

It’s not even about the politics necessarily. Funny that Mystal here assumes that God Bless the U.S.A. means that this judge is like a Trumper judge or something, which is completely absurd. It’s a very popular song. But beyond that, he even says every individual decision that the judge has made is defensible, because it clearly is. The judge is ruling on things where every lawyer I know is going, “What the heck is the prosecutor doing?” But because it keeps going in a way that the left and the Democrats don’t like, what’s the ultimate answer? One plus one plus one equals racism. Oh, okay.

CLAY: Yeah, and here’s the thing. You can think — wrongly, I believe, but you can think — that Kyle Rittenhouse was not entitled to defend himself, in which case his actions could be criminal. That’s the question that the jury has to determine. But what evidence at all is there that racism is a part of this story in any way? He shot three white people! Three white people, by the way, with felonious criminal records who were potentially going to do him ill. We were talking about this off the air.

BUCK: What about child rapist? Can we talk about the child rapist?

CLAY: Out of jail, by the way! How do you even get out of jail if you rape a child? Here’s the other thing, Buck. You and I were talking about off air. You have seen a lot of videos — all of you out there have — from the summer of racial tempest and violence in the streets. How often did you see someone getting beaten up by many numbers of people, right? And so when you are in danger of being disarmed — as Kyle Rittenhouse could have been — of being disarmed, beaten, he may well die. When someone tries to hit you with a skateboard and knock you down, Buck, you are in danger once you are on the ground if you’re knocked out.

BUCK: Clay, in a use-of-force situation like this, the fact that you have a loaded firearm automatically… So if I have… Let’s say I have a sidearm — and all the law enforcement officers listening to this know — and someone attacks me? And obviously it’s different if you’re a civilian, different training expectations than a cop. But someone attacks me they go tore my weapon, if they knock me out, they can take my weapon and execute me and I’m absolutely helpless.

So this, “Oh, it was just a skateboard swinging at somebody’s head; they knew he had a gun”? What kind of lunatic assaults somebody with a gun unless they intend to use that gun when they get it against that person, right? They’re the ones escalating. That’s why this is such a clear self-defense case. We’re so lucky, by the way, from the perspective of justice that there’s video of this.

Imagine for a moment that you were just relying on the eyewitness testimony of BLM rioters in the circumstance, right? I think that you would probably see young Rittenhouse spending decades in prison because they would say that he started it; it’s his fault. We have video of it that shows what happened, and yet here we are. They’re still trying to find a way to make Rittenhouse — now that the facts are out — the bad guy, based on narrative

Because ultimately, they don’t like that people would — that individual citizens would — rebel against the lawlessness, the intimidation, and the rage of the left, of BLM, of Biden voters. ‘Cause that’s what this was. This was the anger of Biden voters during covid against Trump and Trumpism and all the rest of it, and creating this BLM movement pretext for going around and destroying neighborhoods and terrorizing people.

CLAY: What percentage of people do you think believe that Kyle Rittenhouse shot black protesters?

BUCK: I think pretty high. I wouldn’t be surprised to find that 30% or 40% of Democrats believe that Kyle Rittenhouse shot black protesters. I wouldn’t be surprised.

CLAY: I think it’s higher than that, and the reason why I asked the question is because Joe Biden and many other left wingers immediately said, “This is a white supremacist. This is a racist.” Even that clip that we just played says that there’s a race angle to the decisions being made by the judge. I think there is a huge percentage of people out there that were completely stunned as the facts in this case came out that the three people who were shot were all white.

BUCK: And criminals!

CLAY: And also, I think a huge percentage of people still don’t know that they had criminal convictions on their resumes, flak jackets.

BUCK: I’ve covered a fair number of Antifa “direct actions” on the streets. I was there as a media person watching and seeing and documenting it. And their expectation is that civilians run away in terror. Their expectation is they want to destroy your storefront. They want to rampage through your store, your pharmacy. You get out of the way or else they’re gonna hit you with a brick.

CLAY: Yes.

BUCK: That’s what they expect. That’s obviously what they were thinking was gonna happen with Rittenhouse, even though he was armed. They found out the hard way that that was not in fact the case.
